Cutting out the template
To improve accuracy I choose to cut using a rotary cutter, not only can I be sure that each section is mirrored perfectly but I find it speeds up my process.
Taking the time
I always make sure to take my time with every product I make to ensure that every little detail is perfect and will last years of wear, especially when it comes to little explorers!
Using the right machine for you
It's important to note if you want to take up sewing for yourself that not every sewing machine is made equal, you may find that you'll have a preference on the brand of machine you use.
For me I am using a Singer Heavy duty, it fits the requirements I need for the products I produce and gives beautiful results every time!
The most important critics!
Finally, I can't be happy with my products until I know the intended audience is happy with them too!
My little one's are not afraid to tell me if they're happy to wear or use something I've made but my little man instantly felt comfortable in this shirt and it's even survived plenty of messy play.
These shirts are nearly ready to launch and I know your little one's will love them too!
